| Seeing Eye Productions was formed in 2006 after news cameraman/editor Steve Cottrell left the staff of ITV and set up his own business. Primarily working on broadcast news, Steve has worked for thirty years in the UK television industry with both the BBC and ITV as a film editor, tape editor, and news cameraman. He has worked on drama and documentary, with credits that include Boon, starring Michael Elphick, and John Pilger studies of the first Australians. For the past 18 years, Steve has honed his skills as a cameraman for ITV regional news based in Oxfordshire and has filmed and edited subjects as diverse as mass murderer Fred West, the RAF Falcons, numerous court cases, packages and features including world reknown chef Raymond Blanc in New York, through to obscure curios such as the Hungarian Air Force displaying in Budapest. With nearly a quarter century experience in camera and editing techniques, and now ITV News 2007 Camera Operator of the Year Bronze Award winner, Steve invites you to contact him for a chat and a showreel - no matter how small the project. With easy access to London and the south of England, he's well-placed for location shooting and editing either same day or for the longer term, UK or worldwide. Steve is also an accomplished stills photographer and his work may be seen by clicking here or on the 'Snaps' link at top right of this page. | | |
